Aloha Oe!

Jeff and I went to Kona, Hawaii for our 35th wedding anniversary. We had such a great time.

This was my Valentines gift from my sweet husband. I had gone to take a yoga class and came back and found this note with the two necklaces over the ice bucket. I had fallen in love with POG (Passionfruit, Orange, Guave juice) and he knew that I love it over ice, so he went and found some big glasses and got some ice and had found some POG in 1/2 gallon size at the little store down the road and had it sitting there for me when I returned. He is always so sweet and loving. I love him!!

We played some tennis, he kicked my can!!! But it was fun.

We had no idea that there was a temple in Kona, and just happened upon it. It is really beautiful.

A waterfall that we hiked straight DOWN and back UP out of.

So pretty!

Our funnest adventure was four wheeling. We had such a grat time. It was raining and blowing that morning (thus the poncho, more like a balloon hee hee) but eventually turned out really nice. Yes this is me with our guide! We went from sea level (the previous picture) to 4000 ft (the waterfall). I LOVED it!

Bishop Thompson!

This was OUR chair. It was out on the terrace and we would go out and watch the sunsets, or have an afternoon nap with the sound of the ocean and birds chirping and soft Hawaiian music in the background. It was heaven.

We would try to walk every morning, and there was a cool path along the beach and this swing was there.

The view from our room.
